The PresenterPOD is a perfect complement to theVaddio AutoPresenter video switcher and automatedcamera control system. When the PresenterPOD isused in conjunction with the AutoPresenter, the systemallows the presenter to walk up to a work area, such asa lectern, teaching station or whiteboard, and quicklyhave access to the AutoPresenter’s inputs andPan/Tilt/Zoom camera presets.
Two (2) large round buttons located on thePresenterPod offer the presenter flexible control overthe automated content on other presets and othernecessary content sources. A third small square buttonis available for PIP On/Off adjustments if PIP is storedwithin any of the presets activated by thePresenterPOD. Even the Logo button can be used as atrigger.
The system uses Vaddio’s EZCable™ cabling standard, which connects the PresenterPOD via a single Cat-5ecable to the PresenterPOD Interface for the provision of power and transmission of data between the devices.The PresenterPOD Interface can support up to two (2) PresenterPODs (see Technical Images and SystemConnectivity for details). The PresenterPOD Interface can be assigned to output latching, momentary triggers orany combination, depending on the design requirements.

TECHNICAL FEATURES
PresenterPOD Triggers: Each PresenterPOD has four (4) trigger outputsavailable on four (4) buttons which, can beprogrammed to be momentary or latching typetriggers, recall presets or adjust the PIP (on/off)within the presets of the AutoPresenter or othersystems as well. These buttons are made of siliconerubber for a professional look and feel and arebacklit for ease of trigger identification. The systemis even shipped with small labels so that anyinstructor can operate an installed AutoPresenterpresentation environment and know exactly whatpowerful A/V tools are at their fingertips.
PresenterPOD Interface: Within any presentation environment, there arecommonly two (2) active presentation areas; forexample, the lectern position and the whiteboard(see example on next page). The PresenterPODInterface can support two (2) PresenterPODsallowing active control of up to eight presets on theAutoPresenter or other control systems. Logic forinteraction between two PODs is supported.
