The Vaddio IN-Wall camera mounting systems are an attractive way to mount PTZ cameras on a wall where roomaesthetics are critical. These mounting systems use the depth of the wall cavity to minimize the camera’s extensioninto the room while providing a finished look to the installation.
Cameras from Vaddio, Sony BRC series, Sony EVI series, Cisco (Precision HD, PrecisionHD 1080p, Precision60),Polycom (EagleEye, EagleEye 1080 HD an EagleEye IV) and LifeSize (4X and 10X) were selected and the cameraenclosures were carefully designed and sized to fit the Vaddio EZCamera™ Interface Module (EZIM™) in the backof the box to enable use of the Vaddio Quick-Connect™ CCU and PRO Cat-5 cabling systems for applicablecameras (see below). For the EVI-D70/80/90 the Vaddio EZCamera Shoe is attached to the back of the camera.The in-wall mounting box can be installed during room build-out, and the camera platform and face frame can beadded at a later time. All of the parts are powder coated in a white finish, but can be painted to match any décor.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
Deep Back Box Enclosure
The 3-15/16” deep metal wall box uses the maximumdepth of a standard 2” x 4” framed wall cavity andminimizes the camera’s protrusion into the room.
Cable Management
Each Enclosure is outfitted with three (3) conduitknockouts (2-sides, 1-top) for flexibility and easy accessto cabling. The bottom of each wall box and platform hasan additional cable slot for running standard cables to thecameras.
